Hi all,
I just wanted to show a sneak peak of the results with the Conversion Package. I know the APEX dev team has stated in their statement of direction, that Anychart 4 will be integrated into APEX 4.0, but there are some good reason to do it anyway.
1. I want it now ;)
2. Customers are really asking for this!
3. You never know, maybe it'll be postponed to version 4.1 (statements of direction are just guidelines, right? :) )
Just a little heads-up, the video is not as high a quality I'd like. So view in Full Screen and ignore the smudgy looks.

The planning for now, is to support all of APEX's default Chart functionality. So more on this subject soon!

You mean Anychart4 will be inter grated with APEX 4...
Yeah that's what i meant, I changed it.
Thanks Tony!
Hi Rutger,
the plan is to integrate AnyChart 5 with APEX 4.0 and it looks good that it will already be integrated into 4.0 and not 4.1 :-)
Regards
Patrick
AnyChart5 would be great!
Looking forward to see APEX 4.0
In the meantime I'll give the conversion package a try, thanks Rutger.

Hi Patrick,
Great to hear that AC 5 will be available in APEX 4.0! Can you tell me if the standard chart settings will be available or that there will be additional parameters to "upgrade" the charts with more advanced features?
And,
< unrealistic question mode >when is APEX 4 going to be distributed :)< /unrealistic question mode >.
@Peter, keep a close look on this blog, I'll have some more news next week!
Hi Rutger,
I don't know the details about the integration of AnyChart 5, but I'm sure that there are additional settings based on the chart type. Do you have some special settings in mind?
About your unrealistic question: Oracle Financial Year 2010 ;-)
Regards
Patrick
Hi Patrick,
Well I do have something in mind :) But I'll guess I can introduce that before the end of 2009 with a good example ;)
